Teaching Experience

This was my final demo teaching a moment I had been both waiting for and fearing at the same time. At first, I felt nervous, knowing that I was being observed, but everything slowly changed the moment I stepped into the classroom.

The students welcomed me with so much excitement and curiosity. As someone coming from Indonesia, they were eager to know more asking questions about the differences and similarities between our countries, our daily lives, and our culture. Their energy was overwhelming at times, yet it made the classroom feel so alive.

Even though I felt a little overwhelmed, I managed to handle the class, and little by little, my nervousness began to fade. It was replaced with joy, laughter, and a genuine connection with the students.

In that moment, I realized that teaching is not about being perfect it is about being present, being open, and growing together with the students. And somehow, what started as fear turned into one of the most memorable and happiest experiences I’ve ever had.
